I love drama and beautiful dresses. Last fall, Julia’s mother sent me an email request for her daughter, she wanted to plan all the flowers for her wedding.
This happens sometimes, the mom’s help out their daughters. I always try to put together something that I think the bride will like.
I asked to see a picture of her dress and I was blown away. It was a pewter color, knee length, and stunning. Very dramatic, yet very feminine and modern.
I chose succulents mixed with orchids as a theme.
The succulents have the right colors and texture and I mixed them with star of Bethlehem and other flowers to soften the look.
For the flower girls, I put together babies breath headpieces with baskets trimmed with eucalyptus leaves and filled with red rose petals.
I am so happy that Paula, Julias’s mother trusted me and I am doubly happy that Julia and her friends were thrilled. They even took home little pieces of her succulent bouquet so they could grow them at home. How sweet. Share on Facebook
