Morningside Castle is a beautiful venue that is situated in the Upper West Side of Manhattan. Fall is a wonderful time of year to get married and the weather is usually pretty nice that time of year. Loreto Caceres Photography did a wonderful job capturing this romantic wedding.
This venue is unique and it feels like you are in another world. This Gothic Venue is a wonderful place to have a ceremony and reception. It features a courtyard which is perfect for cocktail hour, sweeping staircase for a grand entrance and separate rooms for the ceremony and for the reception. Places like this just scream for candelabras on the reception tables. It is the perfect place to have a wedding in NYC.
Morningside Castle is a gothic structure with lots of wood paneling and an enormous fireplace.
For this wedding decor we chose to use tapered candles with cream colored flowers and dark foliage.
We placed garlands in all of the windows and put candelabras everywhere. The centerpieces were a mix of high and low and were placed in candelabras and in metal silver urns.
Hundreds of candles were used in this wedding.
The bride wore a traditional dress with a fitted top and a ball gown bottom, she also wore a veil with the dress which looked perfect for the ceremony at the church and at the reception at Morningside Castle.
